The 2020 Hyundai Venue is designed for those who love value. Starting at just $18,470 MSRP, it is also extremely efficient. Performance in a Small Package

Hyundai has packed a lot into a small vehicle, which is perfect for city dwellers who want an efficient, nimble vehicle. It only weighs 2,699 pounds, which means its 121 horsepower four-cylinder engine is more than enough to get you going. It is only 13 feet long, and 6 feet wide, which is considerably smaller than most parking spaces. You’ll be able to get those parking spots that are too small for bulkier cars and SUVs.

Standard on the Venue is a surprisingly large 8.0-inch touchscreen featuring connectivity with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The menus and knobs are easy to navigate, and on the SEL and Denim models, you can upgrade to navigation with real-time traffic updates. The base SE model comes with four built-in speakers, while the SEL and Denim models have six.

Safety and Driver Assistance

The Venue comes equipped with many of the driver assistance features we’ve come to expect in modern cars. It will sense when there are obstacles in front of you, warn you about them, and even apply the brakes automatically if you are about to hit something. It will warn you if you are about to leave your lane, and will even apply slight pressure to your steering wheel to keep you from veering into other lanes unintentionally.

All Venues also include a system to warn you if you appear to be falling asleep. The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety was so impressed with the Venue they rated it as a top safety pick for 2020 when equipped with LED projector headlights (which is available on the Denim and SEL). The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave it four stars for its crash test performance.
