2023 Hyundai Tucson

The entry-level Tucson is the SE. It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and keyless entry. Take a step up to the SEL to add roof rails and tinted rear windows along with LED headlights and heated side exterior mirrors. The XRT has 19-inch black-painted wheels, black exterior trim elements, roof rails, side steps, and a tow hitch, while the N Line comes with a hands-free liftgate, panoramic sunroof, and 19-inch wheels. The top-level Limited has a panoramic sunroof, dark chrome exterior trim, upgraded LED headlights, and a skid plate.

The standard engine for the Tucson is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine that puts out 187 horsepower. It comes with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and it uses a six-speed automatic transmission.

The gas engine provides the Tucson with plenty of power for driving around town. It will get the SUV up to 60 mph in just 8.8 seconds. This crossover has excellent driving manners and is easy to handle whether you drive around town, head out on the highway, or take it over curvy back roads. When equipped, it can even tow up to 2,000 pounds.

There's room for up to five people in the 2023 Tucson, and the cabin feels modern and elegant. You'll find 38.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, and this can open up to 74.78 cubic feet when you fold the back seat down. Cloth upholstery comes standard in the SE, with heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver's seat added in the SEL. The N-Line gets sport front seats, but stepping up to the Limited upgrades the interior with a power-adjustable passenger seat, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and driver's seat memory settings. Technology in the Tucson starts with an 8-inch touch screen for the infotainment system, a six-speaker stereo, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SEL adds wireless charging and two extra USB ports, and the XRT upgrades to a 10.25-inch touch screen. You'll also get the larger touch screen in the N Line and Limited, and these trims add navigation.

Every 2023 Hyundai Tucson comes standard with several advanced driver aids. These include a driver attention warning system, forward collision warning with mitigation, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. All models also have a rear seat reminder. The SEL adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and a blind-spot intervention system that will steer the Tucson back into its lane if you try to shift lanes when someone is in your blind spot. A 360-degree surround-view camera comes with the Limited.
