2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6

This car has yet to be officially released, so we don't yet know the exact trim levels available. While its official release is still a few months out, we do have some valuable information about its alluring exterior. The design was implemented specifically to improve performance, as it has a 0.22 drag coefficient, which is a number typically only associated with more exotic cars. Meanwhile, the exterior lights are composed of numerous tiny box-shaped lights for the headlights, taillamps, and turn indicators for a unique retro-future style you won't find anywhere else.

Three different engine options are available with the Ioniq 6, and they're similar to what you'd find in the Ioniq 5. The base engine is a rear-wheel-drive model that offers 149 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It's just a single electric motor with a 53-kWh battery. If you upgrade to the 77.4-kWh battery pack, however, you get 225 horsepower with 258 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the top-level engine is a variant of the bigger battery option that manages to output 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque.

Getting behind the wheel of the Ioniq 6 lets you not only drive in style but also enjoy a smooth yet exhilarating experience. The acceleration is quick, making it easy to get to highway speeds and pass cars. Hyundai also claims that the long-range RWD Ioniq 6 should be able to achieve 340 miles of range on a full charge. The base model, on the other hand, reportedly gets a still impressive 260 miles on a single charge.

The inside of the Ioniq 6 is high-tech and luxurious, with a pair of 12.3-inch screens on the dash. One is for the instrumentation panel, while the other is meant for accessing the infotainment system. Interior ambient lights can be implemented too, and they have settings for 64 different colors. Additionally, there are interior speakers that produce engine sounds in the cabin if you'd like to mimic the audio of regular gas cars that so many drivers are used to. In terms of dimensions, there's plenty of space in the Ioniq 6. You'll find 11.2 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk, along with a bonus 0.4 cubic feet in the front trunk. If you're more interested in legroom, you'll have 42.3 inches of it in the front, while your rear passengers can enjoy a comfortable 39.2 inches.

Plenty of safety features are implemented into the Ioniq 6, including automatic headlights with adaptive high beams, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. If that's not enough, automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping systems are also standard, along with rain-sensing wipers and remote parking assist.
